Yes, it is true; most systems will function on a day to day basis with little intervention. But to ensure this is the case, they do need to be initially setup correctly and maintained on a regular basis. Potential problems can then be identified and corrected before they become a serious headache which can affect your ability to do business.

Once the initial setup has been undertaken, a few hours a month should be all that is required, checking how the system is performing, ensuring back up policies are being adhered to and also checking the integrity of the data on back-up media. Checking the performance of the server(s) and looking into any issues that have been raised since the last visit.

21st Century LAN's Systems Survey Report is the first step.
When a Systems Survey Report is undertaken, we look at your systems to identify any security issues, we analyse the disaster recovery strategy that is in place (if any), ascertain the status of the server(s) &/or workstations and generally see if any cost effective improvements can be made to make the system easier to use, support and protect. We will then submit a written report to you, in as plain a language as possible, indicating any areas that, in our opinion, need further investigation or attention.

Once the Systems Survey Report has been completed, and you have had a chance to read through your report, we can arrange any works that you agree to undertake are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible.

When your systems have been brought up to a good standard, there should be only a little maintenance to be carried out on a regular basis, the amount of time spent and the frequency of the visits can be agreed mutually between you and 21st Century LAN. We can also offer the facility to remotely monitor you systems, allowing your server, to alert us when there are any potential issues.

As well as keeping your current systems running at their best, we can also offer assistance on the purchase & roll out of new software &/or hardware right through from specification to implementation.
